Al Ahly’s first team goalkeeper and captain, Mohamed El Shenawy won the man of the match award of the bronze medal game of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Following Al Ahly’s victory over Palmeiras, the tournament’s organizing committee named El Shenawy the man of the match.

El Shenawy played a decisive role in the match after making three penalty saves in the shootouts.

The Red Eagles managed to win the bronze medal in the 2020 FIFA Club World Cup, repeating our achievement of 2006.
